London, United Kingdom, November 2024 – Lee Yeap has joined Databricks as the Senior Director of International Talent Acquisition. In this role, Lee will spearhead talent acquisition strategies globally, driving recruitment excellence and supporting the company’s mission of empowering data-driven innovation.
Before Databricks, Lee served as Senior Director of International Talent Acquisition at Rivian, where he played a key role in building a world-class talent acquisition team, supporting the company’s mission of sustainable transportation. His leadership was instrumental in expanding Rivian’s international presence and aligning talent strategies with organizational growth.
Prior to Rivian, Lee held senior leadership roles at Uber, including Senior Director of International Talent Acquisition and Global Head of Talent Acquisition for Uber Eats, overseeing recruitment efforts across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, managing teams of over 250 members and hiring thousands of professionals annually.
At Tesla, Lee scaled and redesigned the EMEA recruiting function to support the company’s rapid expansion. As Director of Recruiting and Learning & Development, he implemented innovative strategies to meet Tesla’s ambitious growth targets in Europe and APAC.
Lee also held pivotal roles at Johnson Controls, Sky, and BT Group, where he led talent acquisition functions, successfully building teams and streamlining recruitment processes to meet high-volume and niche hiring needs.
