Toronto, Ontario, Canada – October 2024 – Leigh Lostracco has been appointed as Director, People & Culture Strategic Initiatives & HR Business Partner at Sun Life. In this role, Leigh will drive strategic HR initiatives and strengthen the company’s people strategy to enhance employee experience and foster a high-performing, inclusive culture.
Leigh previously served as a Senior Strategy Consultant, People, Strategy & Enablement at Sun Life, where she played a pivotal role in driving strategic HR projects over the past year. Her work focused on aligning HR initiatives with business goals, improving employee engagement, and developing tailored people strategies.
Prior to this, Leigh was a Senior Consultant in Sun Life’s Global Talent Consulting Practice for two years, providing strategic talent management solutions and advising leaders on global talent initiatives. During this time, she was responsible for implementing innovative programs that improved talent acquisition, development, and retention across the organization.
Leigh’s earlier roles at Sun Life included Talent Acquisition Program Manager and HR Strategic Initiatives, Global Talent, where she focused on designing recruitment strategies and leading HR transformation projects. She initially joined Sun Life through its Rotational Leadership Development Program, gaining experience in business analytics and operational risk management.
