London, England, United Kingdom, June 2025 – Mike Shergold has been appointed as Head of People at Menzies Aviation, where he will oversee people strategy, organizational design, and HR operations for the global aviation leader, supporting teams across more than 300 locations in 65 countries.
Prior to rejoining Menzies Aviation, Mike served as Senior Manager Human Resources | Head of HR Business Partnering at Canon EMEA, where he played a pivotal role in strategic HR transformation, business strategy, and leadership development across the region. His recent HR leadership also includes a stint as Senior HR Business Partner at Randstad UK, where he led organizational design and drove key diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Earlier, Mike was Senior People Business Partner / Lead People Partner at LV=, leading business strategy and HR policy execution, and previously held the role of Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Menzies Aviation, focusing on change management, business transformation, and collective bargaining during an important period of organizational growth.
His career began at British Airways, where over more than two decades, he held various senior operational and HR leadership roles—including Business Change Manager, HR Operations Manager, and Customer Service Duty Manager—honing his expertise in people management, communication, and business strategy.
