In her new capacity, Leona will be leading the operational aspects of the People function, ensuring that Phoenix Group’s people operations remain seamless, efficient, and strategically aligned with the organization’s mission and growth objectives.
Leona’s journey at Phoenix Group began nearly six years ago, serving as Senior HR Business Partner and aligning HR strategy with business transformation for the organization’s open business lines. Prior to her time with Phoenix Group, Leona held pivotal roles at Standard Life, including Head of People for Pensions and Savings, Interim HR Business Partner, People Delivery Manager, and People Consultant.
Her early career at Standard Life involved various PMO, project management, and secretarial positions, giving her a robust foundation in business change, organizational design, and people transformation.
Throughout her career, Leona has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering people-centric solutions and driving business results through talent and operational excellence. Her leadership and hands-on approach have made her a valued partner to business leaders and a mentor to her teams.
