M. Srinivas Reddy Appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Ice Make Refrigeration Limited

Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, November 2025 — M. Srinivas Reddy has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Ice Make Refrigeration Limited, bringing with him more than three decades of industry leadership, strategic planning expertise, and a deep understanding of refrigeration technologies and market ecosystems. With an engineering degree, an MBA, and executive education from the London Business School, he has also contributed significantly to industry forums through his role as an elected member of the CII Maharashtra State Council. His appointment marks an important milestone for Ice Make Refrigeration Limited as it strengthens its leadership to accelerate growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

In his most recent role at Blue Star Limited, Mr. Reddy served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development, where he shaped long-term business strategy, collaborated closely with business heads and directors, evaluated emerging technologies, and led transformation programmes in Analytics, AI, and Total Cost Management (TCM). He played a pivotal role in strengthening future-readiness, driving enterprise-wide impact, and fostering partnerships with leading global consulting firms. His strategic leadership positioned the organisation to respond effectively to changing market demands while delivering strong business outcomes.

Before this, Mr. Reddy led the Commercial Refrigeration Business at Blue Star Limited as Vice President, overseeing full P&L responsibilities, doubling business revenue, tripling profitability, expanding manufacturing capacities, and establishing a robust product portfolio across deep freezers, coolers, medical refrigeration, kitchen equipment, supermarket systems, and cold storage solutions. His leadership reinforced market dominance across multiple B2B sectors, including pharma, healthcare, dairy, ice cream, horticulture, marine, and processed foods. His tenure also included recognition as Senior Manager of the Year (FY20) and accolades for manufacturing excellence and design innovation.

Prior to that, he served as Senior General Manager, Corporate Planning at Blue Star Limited, where he formulated long-range strategies, evaluated diversification opportunities, built corporate planning capabilities from the ground up, and led enterprise-level transformation. His collaborative work with premier institutions like IIT and SPA, and engagements with consulting partners such as KPMG, Technopak, Nielsen, and Avalon Global, enabled the organisation to expand its footprint and sharpen its competitive edge.

In the earlier phase of his tenure at Blue Star Limited, Mr. Reddy held significant responsibilities as General Manager, leading the All-India refrigeration systems business with end-to-end accountability across sales, distribution, marketing, business development, key accounts, and product management. He introduced new channel models, enhanced product portfolios, optimised cost structures, and developed high-performing teams that anchored the company’s position as a market leader. This role helped him deepen his understanding of India’s refrigeration landscape and build strong customer-centric business frameworks.

His professional journey began at Tecumseh Products Company (formerly Shriram Refrigeration Industries), where he gained early experience in sales, marketing, application engineering, and general management. These foundational years built his technical and commercial perspective, which later shaped his comprehensive leadership style. Over the decades, Mr. Reddy has developed a reputation for business expansion, operational transformation, and strategic execution — strengths that align precisely with Ice Make’s growth ambitions.
