Austin, Texas, United States, December 2025 – Libby Smith has started a new role as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Human Resources at Consero Global, where she will lead the global people strategy across North America and India. Reporting directly to the CEO, she will oversee all HR functions—including recruiting, total rewards, learning and development, and HR operations—while championing diversity and using data-driven insights to scale a high-performance global workforce.
Prior to joining Consero Global, Libby Smith served as HR Transformation Leader at Edward Jones for nearly four years. In this role, she was instrumental in leading enterprise-wide HR initiatives focused on organizational redesign, people analytics, and change management—enabling the firm to evolve its people practices and navigate growth in a dynamic financial services environment.
Earlier, Libby spent almost three years at Hilton, where she held the role of Senior Director. At Hilton, she led several strategic HR programs, including workforce planning, leadership development, and employee engagement, with a focus on driving business outcomes through people-centric innovation.
Before her tenure at Hilton, she worked at Ernst & Young for over five years, where she was a Senior Manager leading complex human capital consulting projects in the areas of workforce analytics, HR transactions, and cybersecurity workforce strategy. Her ability to deliver results in dynamic client environments made her a trusted advisor to C-level leaders.
Libby’s earlier professional journey includes serving as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, and notably, beginning her career as a Military Police Officer in the US Army for over five years. These formative experiences shaped her leadership ethos and built a strong foundation for her transition into HR and strategic advisory roles.
