US Foods, a premier American foodservice distributor, is delighted to announce the appointment of Lindsey Phillips as Director of HR Mergers & Acquisitions. With over two decades of experience in HR and benefits management, Phillips is perfectly poised to drive strategic initiatives in her new role, which she will execute remotely.
Before her recent move to US Foods, Phillips was the Director of HR M&A Integration at Republic Services in Scottsdale, Arizona, from March 2022 to January 2024. There, she successfully led 35 HR integrations for acquisitions varying in size from a few employees to several thousand, coordinating across multiple workstreams such as Workday, Kronos, Payroll, and Benefits. Her efforts streamlined integration processes, significantly enhancing efficiency and communication.
From June 2021 to March 2022, Phillips served as Assistant Vice President, Consultant – Health & Benefits at Aon, where she acted as a strategic consultant for the design and execution of client health and welfare programs. This role involved coordinating with specialized practices to enhance client services, such as pharmacy audits and wellness programs.
Prior to her consultancy role, she was the Director of Benefits at US Foods from June 2016 to July 2021. In this capacity, she managed comprehensive benefits planning and execution for 3,500 employees across multiple companies, integrating these systems during US Foods’ acquisition of Services Group of America’s food service operations. Her strategic oversight ensured program efficiency, compliance, and optimization of spending, significantly impacting employee satisfaction and cost management.
Her earlier career includes significant roles at Lockton Companies and Willis Towers Watson, where she developed and managed employee benefit programs, contributing to best practice development and client relationship management.
