London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Lizzie Burrows has been promoted to Chief Marketing and Recruitment Officer at Imperial College London, where she will lead the Marketing, Outreach, Student Recruitment, and Admissions Division (MORA). With over 15 years of experience in student recruitment and marketing across prestigious UK institutions, Lizzie’s strategic leadership will be pivotal in shaping the College’s global outreach and student engagement initiatives.
Lizzie has been with Imperial College London since 2021, previously serving as Director of Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions, where she oversaw student recruitment strategies, market insights, and admissions processes for all study levels. During her tenure, she successfully drove campaigns to bolster the College’s national and international reputation.
Before joining Imperial, Lizzie served at the University of Surrey for eight years in various senior roles, including Director of Marketing, Student Recruitment, and Admissions (Interim). Her achievements include winning two Heist Awards in 2021 and developing impactful student recruitment campaigns. Earlier in her career, she worked with the University of Oxford and University of Essex, honing her expertise in student recruitment and digital marketing strategies.
