United States, August 2025 – Louise Carmichael has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at HR Green, Inc., a leading engineering and management solutions provider. In this new role, she will oversee global people strategy, organizational development, and talent initiatives to support HR Green’s century-long mission of building communities and improving lives.
Louise joins HR Green from Wood, where she spent more than seven years in diverse HR leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Talent & Development, driving succession planning, leadership coaching, and strategic workforce planning. Prior to that, as Vice President of Human Resources, she led HR strategy for the organization across the United States, strengthening compliance frameworks and developing leadership pipelines. Her earlier tenure at Wood also included roles as Sr. HR Manager, Compliance and Sr. Human Resources Manager, where she built expertise across employee relations, benefits, organizational development, and global mobility.
Before her time at Wood, Louise worked with Amec Foster Wheeler for over seven years. As Global HR Manager, she provided HR leadership for international business units, shaping global talent frameworks and strategic HR initiatives. She also served as Business Administration/HR Manager, managing compliance, HR operations, and employee engagement programs.
Her earlier career includes a six-year tenure at Rider Hunt International, where she began as an intern and advanced to HR Generalist, gaining foundational experience in talent management, policy development, and HR administration. This early grounding set the stage for her long-term success as a strategic HR leader.
