London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) has announced the appointment of Louise Sach as HR Director – Head of Talent, DEI, Learning, Engagement, Recruitment & Early Careers. In this role, Louise will lead strategic initiatives across the HR landscape, driving efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), talent development, learning programs, and early career recruitment. She will be instrumental in advancing SGCIB’s people-first approach, ensuring alignment with its global business objectives.
Prior to her new role, Louise Sach served as Lead HR Client Partner – Support and Control at SGCIB, where she oversaw HR strategy for the bank’s back and middle office UK client groups, including Technology, Infrastructure, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Legal. She managed a team of HR Business Partners and Advisors, delivering impactful HR agendas across critical functions for over two years.
Previously, Louise held the position of Director, Senior HR Business Partner – COO Technology & Operations at SGCIB, leading a team of HR professionals to execute the UK HR agenda for key departments. Her contributions included fostering organizational growth and ensuring HR processes supported business objectives.
Before joining SGCIB, Louise spent nearly seven years at HSBC, where she held various senior HR leadership roles. Notably, she served as Senior HR Business Partner – Technology (Director) and Senior HR Business Partner – Commercial Banking (Director), partnering with senior executives to deliver transformative HR strategies and workforce solutions.
Earlier in her career, Louise gained valuable international experience as an HR Generalist with NatWest Group in the Americas and as an HR and Payroll Client Manager at OneAdvanced. Her well-rounded career showcases her expertise in talent management, DEI, and strategic HR leadership across diverse sectors.
