In a strategic move to bolster its growth ambitions in the India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) region, The Lubrizol Corporation has appointed Bhavana Bindra as the Managing Director for IMEA. This announcement underscores the company’s robust commitment to enhancing its operational footprint and fostering regional development.
Bindra, who brings to the table over twenty years of rich experience in the manufacturing sector, including pivotal roles at esteemed organizations such as REHAU and Cummins India, is set to leverage her profound leadership skills and industry insights to propel Lubrizol’s expansion in these key markets.
In her role as the Managing Director for IMEA, Bindra will spearhead the company’s efforts to achieve significant growth, adopting a local-for-local strategy that promises to deliver tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of Lubrizol’s diverse customer base in the region. Furthermore, she will play a critical role in enhancing Lubrizol’s collaborations with local customers, suppliers, and stakeholders and oversee the operations of the new Global Capability Center in Pune, India. This center is envisioned as a regional hub that will amplify Lubrizol’s capacity for innovation and growth within the IMEA territories.

This executive appointment aligns with Lubrizol’s strategic investments in the region, highlighted by the $150 million investment in India. This includes the establishment of the world’s largest CPVC resin plant in Vilayat, India, set to commence operations in 2025, significantly augmenting the company’s manufacturing capabilities.
