London, England, United Kingdom, March 2025 – Lucy Macklin has been appointed as Global Head of People and Talent at Ultima, a technology powerhouse known for its award-winning services and solutions in cloud, security, data, and AI. In her new role, Lucy will lead global people strategy, talent management, and employee experience initiatives to support Ultima’s ambitious growth plans across geographies.
Lucy joined Ultima in September 2024 as an HR Business Partner, quickly rising to a global leadership role within four months—a testament to her deep HR expertise and organizational impact.
Prior to Ultima, Lucy served as HR Business Partner at Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward for over two years, where she was instrumental in managing people strategy, employee relations, and talent initiatives across the real estate company’s London operations.
Before that, she spent over three years at Unison as a Human Resources Officer, focusing on employee support and HR compliance in one of the UK’s largest trade unions.
Earlier in her career, Lucy held multiple progressive roles at The Labour Party, including HR Officer, Coordinator, and Administrator, gaining exposure to the intricacies of political and public sector HR.
She began her HR journey with notable experience at The Royal Household as HR Assistant and also contributed as a Client Care Coordinator at British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) and an HR Volunteer at Missing People, reflecting her early commitment to purpose-driven organizations.
