Northbrook, IL, USA – November, 2024 – Stepan Company (NYSE: SCL) has announced the promotion of Luis E. Rojo to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as well as his appointment to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Rojo steps into this role following the departure of Scott R. Behrens, who is leaving Stepan after a 31-year career to pursue other opportunities.

Previously Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Stepan, Rojo joined the company in April 2018 after a 21-year career at Procter & Gamble Co. His financial expertise and strategic focus on driving commercial and operational results have been instrumental in his leadership roles. Mr. Stepan highlighted Rojo’s impact: “Luis has developed a deep understanding of all aspects of our business.
