Zilina, Slovakia, January 2025 – Lukas G. has been appointed as the Managing Director of Schaeffler Slovensko, spol. s r.o. In this role, Lukas will lead the company’s operations in Slovakia, driving strategic initiatives and overseeing key aspects of the organization’s growth and innovation in the region. With over a decade of experience at Schaeffler and an extensive background in financial management and operations, Lukas is well-positioned to guide the company towards continued success in the mobility and technology sector.
Lukas has been with Schaeffler for nearly 12 years, showcasing an exemplary career trajectory. Before assuming his current role, he served as the Director of the Financial Shared Service Center for over seven years. During this time, he successfully managed the center’s operations, rolled in new legal entities, and defined the strategic direction of the financial shared services, optimizing processes across multiple European countries.
Prior to this, Lukas was instrumental in establishing the Accounts Receivable function at Schaeffler’s newly established shared service center. Over nearly five years, he standardized and optimized AR operations for various entities, enhancing efficiency and alignment across the organization.
Before joining Schaeffler, Lukas worked as a Financial Controller at Dell Technologies, where he coordinated financial planning and analysis for key business units. Earlier in his career, he gained significant expertise in auditing as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), working on financial statements prepared under IFRS, US GAAP, and other statutory frameworks.
