New Delhi, India, September 2025 – Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has appointed Madhuri Mehta as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over 23 years of diverse experience across leading organizations, Mehta will spearhead the company’s people strategy, focusing on building a future-ready workforce, enhancing organizational culture, and driving large-scale HR transformations aligned with Hero MotoCorp’s innovation-driven growth in the automotive sector.
Mehta brings a wealth of experience from her tenure as CHRO at Emaar India, where she led enterprise-wide human capital initiatives and strengthened people practices during a transformative phase of the company.
Previously, she spent over 16 years with Dalmia Bharat Group, where she served as Head of HR for the cement business and corporate operations, overseeing a workforce of nearly 12,000 employees. She played a key role in driving growth through both organic and inorganic expansion while institutionalizing robust HR systems and leadership development programs.
She began her HR journey at Bharti Airtel, where she worked as Senior Manager – Human Resources. During her five-year tenure, she focused on recruitment, employee engagement, HR digitization, and succession planning, laying the foundation for her career in strategic HR leadership.
In addition to her corporate leadership roles, Mehta is the Founder of the Blue Orb Foundation, a social impact initiative that promotes holistic child development through its WIN model. This unique blend of corporate HR expertise and community impact underscores her holistic leadership approach.
