MUMBAI, Maharashtra, India, August 2025 – Vivek Das has joined Madison Media as Chief Digital Officer, bringing with him over two decades of multifaceted experience in digital strategy, media transformation, and marketing innovation. With a career that spans leadership roles across premier global agencies and platforms, Vivek’s appointment marks a strategic step in Madison’s digital evolution.
Vivek was most recently part of the India leadership team at EssenceMediacom, where he served as Managing Partner and led the Google India and Southeast Asia business. During his tenure, he delivered integrated, data-driven media strategies and collaborated closely with WPP and GroupM to drive performance outcomes across markets.
Prior to that, Vivek held the role of CEO at FoxyMoron, where he led the agency through a transformative phase and strengthened the Zoo Media network’s market positioning. He previously spent over seven years at Mindshare, rising through roles including Vice President, Business & Digital Head – Disney Star India, and WPP Client Lead for PepsiCo, where he spearheaded integrated media campaigns for some of the country’s most prominent brands.
Vivek’s professional journey also includes senior leadership roles at Omnicom Media Group, Wunderman, Dentsu Webchutney, and BC Web Wise, where he led strategy and digital transformation initiatives across sectors such as automotive, FMCG, retail, and finance. He has also served as Visiting Faculty at Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, sharing his industry insights with future marketing professionals.
Outside of his corporate roles, Vivek is a passionate mentor and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities, inspired in part by his own family journey. He has worked as a mentor, speaker, and inclusion champion for over four years, including with WPP Unite, promoting diversity, equity, and belonging in the workplace.
With his deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and people-first leadership, Vivek is well-positioned to lead Madison Media’s digital growth and innovation across platforms.
