Vienna, Austria, September, 2025 — Magenta Telekom announced key leadership appointments, completing its management team with the addition of two seasoned corporate leaders. Christian Hauer will assume the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) effective October 15, 2025, while Aleksander Bek will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective November 1, 2025.
Christian Hauer Appointed CHRO
Hauer has been with the Deutsche Telekom Group since 2008, supporting numerous leadership and transformation processes during his career. Most recently, he served as Cluster Lead Executive Management Europe and VP Global Talent Management, where he was responsible for filling CxO positions across the Group and advancing leadership teams in the European national companies.
From 2013 to 2018, Hauer was HR Director and a member of the management team at T-Systems Austria, where he played a significant role in the company’s transformation from a traditional IT outsourcer into a modern ICT service provider. He succeeds Nathalie Rau, who left Magenta in mid-September after more than three years.
Thomas Kicker, CEO of Magenta Telekom, said: “With Christian Hauer, we are gaining an experienced HR strategist who focuses equally on people and organizations. His expertise will make a decisive contribution to further developing our culture and shaping Magenta’s successful future.”

Bek has been part of the Deutsche Telekom Group since 2009, holding various finance management positions in Poland and Germany. With over 15 years of international finance experience—including roles in controlling, investor relations, and venture capital—he most recently served as Head of Controlling at T-Mobile Polska, where he drove the company’s financial reorientation and built a strong team.
Thomas Kicker, CEO of Magenta Telekom, added: “Aleksander Bek combines financial expertise, an international perspective, and high energy. With him, we gain a CFO who is both strategically minded and solution-oriented – a major asset for Magenta.”
