Kolkata, West Bengal, India, December 2024 – Mainak Dutta has been promoted to Director HR – East at Delhivery Limited, India’s largest integrated logistics provider. In his new role, Mainak will lead HR operations across the Eastern region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, enhancing employee engagement, and driving talent management strategies to support Delhivery’s rapid growth.
Mainak Dutta has been a key contributor to Delhivery Limited for nearly three years. Prior to this promotion, he served as Senior Manager – HR (East), where he oversaw the complete employee lifecycle, performance management, and regional talent acquisition strategies. His role involved bridging organizational vision with ground-level operations, driving employee engagement, and ensuring efficient HR service delivery.
Before joining Delhivery, Mainak was Senior Manager – HR at Ecom Express Limited, where he managed HR operations for North India’s logistics hubs, including two of the largest e-commerce facilities in the country. He previously served as Manager – HR at DHL, where he focused on talent acquisition and employee relations in the Kolkata region.
Mainak has also held leadership roles at Transworld Terminals Pvt. Ltd., Brink’s Inc., and McNally Bharat Engineering Company Limited, where he gained extensive experience in HR strategy, industrial relations, and statutory compliance. His early career roles at ITD Cementation India Ltd. and Tractor India Limited provided him a strong foundation in HR operations and competency mapping.
