Majid Al-Farayedhi has been named the new Vice President of Human Resources at TAQA (Industrialization & Energy Services Company). With this role, Al-Farayedhi will oversee the company’s strategic human resources planning, HR operations, and human capital management, reflecting TAQA’s commitment to progressive and boundless people practices. Prior to his promotion, he worked as Country Executive Director in Kuwait.
Before that, Al-Farayedhi was the Executive Director of Well Intervention and Stimulation in Saudi Arabia for nearly a year, following his role as Director of Stimulation Services for 11 months. His significant contributions to these areas have been marked by substantial advancements in operational efficiencies and technological integration.
From May 2018 to March 2019, he was appointed as the Director in the CEO Office, directly influencing senior management decisions and strategic directions at TAQA. His earlier career includes various significant roles at Schlumberger and Saudi Aramco, ranging from field service management to marketing and sales in unconventional resources, which provided him with a deep understanding of the industry’s operational and commercial facets.
Al-Farayedhi comes to this new position with a robust background of over 21 years in various leadership roles primarily within the energy sector. Most recently, he served as the Country Executive Director in Kuwait for a year and three months, where he managed executive duties across well engineering, geoscience, and sales.
