Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2025 – Manas Lahiri has been appointed as the Chief Growth Officer at Havas India, marking a significant leadership addition aimed at driving the company’s strategic expansion and innovation. In this pivotal role, Manas will lead growth initiatives, enhance client partnerships, and spearhead innovative strategies across Havas India’s diverse 25-agency network.
Prior to his new role, Manas Lahiri served as the Executive Growth Partner for India at VML, where he was responsible for driving business expansion and client development, focusing on strategic growth initiatives and client relationships. He also briefly served as Executive Client Officer, playing a key role in managing client portfolios and business operations.
Before VML, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Famous Innovations, leading strategic operations and business transformation efforts. Earlier in his career, Manas was part of Havas India, where he served as Managing Director and President, contributing significantly to business expansion and market positioning.
Previously, he held leadership roles at Creativeland Asia as Branch Head and General Manager, and at Contract India as Senior Vice President and General Manager, where he led business development, strategic marketing, and client management. His experience at Ogilvy, Commonwealth//McCann, and Samsung Mobile further solidified his expertise in brand strategy, business planning, and team leadership.
His early career included roles at Motorola, Reliance Industries Limited, and Samsung Mobile, where he focused on sales management, brand marketing, and operations management, laying a strong foundation for his leadership in the advertising and communications sector.
