With over two decades of rich experience in international sales and business development, he brings expertise in expanding global client bases, exploring new markets, strategic planning, operations management, relationship building, and licensing. His appointment underscores Meyer Organics’ commitment to strengthening its international footprint and achieving sustainable growth in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors.
Prior to joining Meyer Organics, Manas served for nearly a decade at Aurobindo Pharma as Assistant General Manager – Global Business Development, where he was responsible for in-licensing and business development projects across Europe and Canada, and built B2B partnerships in emerging and South African markets. His contributions were critical in driving global growth initiatives and expanding the company’s reach across multiple geographies.
Before his tenure at Aurobindo, he worked with Sun Pharma (erstwhile Ranbaxy Laboratories) as Senior Manager – Global Formulation Sourcing & Business Development, managing commercial negotiations, global partnerships, and product launches across APAC, the Middle East, Gulf, and Latin American regions. His role involved identifying suitable partners and leading strategic business development initiatives that supported global expansion.
Manas also gained significant experience at Geltec – Innovative Healthcare, where he served as Senior Manager – International Business Development. There, he was instrumental in driving global strategic business development for nutraceutical and OTC formulations, tapping new markets, identifying international partners, and spearheading overseas offices to enhance market penetration.
He began his career with Cipla, where he spent eight years as Export Manager, establishing new business relationships and developing profitable global markets for the company’s pharmaceutical products. Over the years, his ability to build and sustain international partnerships has made him a seasoned leader in global healthcare business development.
