Mumbai, India, September 2025 — Maneesh Menda has been appointed as Global Head of HR Delivery at Citi, where he will lead a global team of HR Delivery and Support Partners to provide world-class HR services aligned with the firm’s strategic goals. Based in Mumbai, his mandate includes designing, streamlining, and optimizing HR processes across multiple geographies, while enhancing the employee experience to ensure alignment with Citi’s growth and transformation agenda.
Before joining Citi, Maneesh spent more than a decade with NatWest Group, where he rose to Head of HR – International Hubs, partnering with leaders across India and Poland to drive the people agenda and strategic HR priorities. He had also served as Head of HR for India and as Senior HR Business Partner, where he worked closely with senior leadership to implement people strategies that supported business transformation and growth.
Earlier, Maneesh built strong expertise in HR operations and global people processes during his long tenure at Standard Chartered Corporate & Investment Banking. He held several leadership positions including Global Head – Performance, Reward & Benefit Operations, Head – Service Delivery South Asia HR, and Head – Performance, Reward & Benefit Delivery for Africa, covering over 60 countries and nearly 90,000 colleagues. His leadership in this phase helped shape scalable HR delivery models and strengthen performance management and reward operations globally.
Maneesh’s career journey also spans leadership roles outside the HR function. At Airtel, he served as Head of Receivables, managing pre- and post-paid financial operations across Kerala. He also held the position of Head of Operations at VNM Jewel Crafts Ltd., overseeing manufacturing operations in partnership with the World Gold Council. He began his career as a Chartered Accountant at M.A.M. Associates, providing advisory and audit support to a diverse client base.
With over two decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning HR, finance, operations, and leadership, Maneesh brings a unique perspective to his global mandate at Citi. His ability to bridge strategy, technology, and people makes him well-positioned to advance Citi’s global HR delivery model and strengthen its commitment to employee-centric innovation.
