New York, United States, December 2024 – Manfred Krueger has taken on the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at St. Francis College, where he will lead transformative IT initiatives to enhance academic and operational excellence. Leveraging his extensive global experience in technology and innovation, Krueger will oversee the modernization of infrastructure and the implementation of cutting-edge solutions to foster a seamless, secure, and inclusive educational environment.
Manfred Krueger brings over two decades of leadership in IT and digital transformation. Prior to joining St. Francis College, he served as a CIO Consultant at 4Schritt Consulting, where he led critical projects in infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity planning, and application rationalization. His work included onboarding a Security Operations Center (SOC) and optimizing IT resources for enhanced cost-efficiency.
Earlier, Krueger held various senior roles at Prudential Financial, including Vice President, Product Owner Emerging Markets and Japan, and CTO at Prudential Systems Japan, Limited. At Prudential, he spearheaded large-scale enterprise IT programs, implemented AGILE methodologies, and led a team of 250 employees and 700 contractors to execute strategic technology roadmaps. His accomplishments include reducing operational costs by $7.5M and implementing solutions to modernize IT infrastructure across geographies, including Japan and Latin America.
Krueger began his career in technical consulting roles at companies like DeskNet Inc. and o.tel.o, showcasing his global expertise in business process optimization and software implementation.
