Pune, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 – Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) has announced the appointment of Mangesh Kadu as Associate Vice President – Global Business Development & Key Segments in the Global Power Generation Business Unit. In this strategic role, Kadu will focus on expanding global market opportunities, strengthening partnerships across key industry segments, and accelerating the company’s presence in national and international power generation markets.
Kadu brings over 24 years of experience in the power generation and energy infrastructure sector, with deep expertise in business strategy, application engineering, and execution of mission-critical power infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, he served as Head – Project System Business & Application Engineering at Rolls-Royce Solutions India, where he led initiatives across data center power infrastructure, gas-based power generation projects, and sustainable energy solutions.
Earlier in his career, Kadu spent more than a decade with MTU India Pvt. Ltd., where he held multiple leadership roles including Head – Application Engineering | Sustainable Solution Business Development and Manager / Domain Leader – Engineering Analytics and Deputy Engineering Head. During this time, he worked extensively on developing stationary and mobile power solutions, energy storage systems, and strategic project-based business models for industrial and infrastructure applications.
Kadu’s earlier experience also includes roles with Behr as Assistant Manager – Simulation, focusing on product development and engineering validation, and with Mechwell Industries Ltd. as Team Lead – CFD (Design & Development), where he helped establish computational fluid dynamics capabilities for design optimization.
He holds an Executive Program in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Postgraduate qualification in Innovation & Corporate Entrepreneurship from Symbiosis International University, equipping him with strong capabilities in business strategy, digital transformation, and innovation-driven leadership.
