Gurugram, Haryana, India, February 2026 — Devyani International Limited has announced that Manish Dawar will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer effective April 1, 2026, as the quick-service restaurant operator prepares for a key leadership transition. He will succeed Virag Joshi as CEO, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth journey.
Prior to this appointment, Manish Dawar has been serving as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer at Devyani International Limited since 2021, where he has played a central role in shaping the company’s financial and strategic direction. His elevation to CEO reflects the board’s confidence in his leadership as the company advances its expansion and operational priorities.
Before stepping into the CEO role at Devyani International Limited, Manish Dawar spent about five years as Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer at the company, strengthening its financial architecture and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Vodafone Idea Limited, where he served as Chief Integration & Transformation Officer and previously as Chief Financial Officer, contributing to large-scale integration and financial strategy during a critical phase for the telecom operator.
He also worked as Group CFO at DEN Networks Limited, overseeing financial leadership for one of India’s major cable and broadband companies. Prior to that, he served as CFO – Konkala Resources plc at the Vedanta Group, gaining international exposure in financial management and operations.
A significant part of his career was spent at Reckitt, where he held multiple global and regional finance leadership roles, including Senior Vice President – Group Controller in the United Kingdom and Regional Finance Director – South Asia; CFO and Company Secretary – India. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance and management roles at Reebok International Limited and Hindustan Unilever Limited, building a strong foundation in finance, governance, and business leadership.
