Delhi, India, September 2025 — Manish Guptaa has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Pizza Hut India, part of US-based Yum! Brands. In his new role, he will lead marketing strategy, consumer engagement, and digital-first initiatives to accelerate growth for the quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain.
Guptaa has been associated with Pizza Hut India since 2019, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping its digital and marketing transformation journey. Most recently, he served as Chief Digital & Technology Officer, where he worked at the intersection of marketing, technology, and data to scale digital commerce, drive consumer engagement, and implement performance marketing models.
Before his elevation, Guptaa held senior leadership roles within Pizza Hut India, including as Marketing Director, Associate Director for Digital Marketing, CRM, and E-commerce, and Head of Digital Marketing & Alternate Channels. In these roles, he strengthened brand positioning, spearheaded content and media strategies, and deepened partnerships to expand the brand’s digital footprint.
Earlier in his career, Guptaa was associated with Jubilant FoodWorks (Domino’s), where he drove innovation and marketing strategies for one of India’s largest QSR brands. His experience also spans consumer technology companies such as Karbonn Mobiles and Spice Mobiles, where he led brand strategy, digital campaigns, and product launches.
Guptaa began his professional journey with Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where he worked in marketing for the True Value network and contributed to new business initiatives. He also gained early experience with Axis Softech in business development. Across these roles, he has consistently demonstrated expertise in building consumer-centric strategies, driving product innovation, and leveraging technology for market impact.
With over two decades of leadership experience, Guptaa brings a unique blend of digital, technology, and marketing expertise that will further Pizza Hut’s “back-to-core” strategy and strengthen its resonance with Indian consumers.
