Ragama, Western Province, Sri Lanka, June 2025 — Manjari Kumarage has been appointed as the Group Head of Human Resources & Administration at Lanka Milk Foods Group, one of Sri Lanka’s leading dairy and beverage manufacturing conglomerates. Bringing with her over 18 years of diverse experience in human resources, administration, and customer engagement, Manjari will be responsible for spearheading the Group’s HR strategy, talent development, organizational culture, and administrative operations across its six subsidiary companies.
Prior to this appointment, Manjari served as Head of Rewards & Recognition at AIA Sri Lanka, where she developed compensation frameworks and enhanced talent management practices. In this role, she was instrumental in aligning rewards systems with employee performance, significantly contributing to the organization’s recognition culture.
Previously, she held senior HR leadership roles at Fairfirst Insurance Limited for over a decade, eventually heading both Human Resources and Facilities Management. During her tenure, she was a member of the Executive and Policy Advisory Committees and played a key role in strategic HR planning, employee engagement, leadership coaching, and regulatory compliance.
Her earlier experiences include roles in talent acquisition at Lanka Bell, HR administration at Nation Lanka Finance PLC, and recruitment and student engagement at Leads Consultancy in the UK. She also gained international exposure working with William Hill in the UK, where she supported customer operations.
In her new role, Manjari is expected to align human capital strategy with business objectives across the Lanka Milk Foods Group and drive HR transformation initiatives that support sustainable growth, talent optimization, and operational efficiency.
