Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2025 – Sujit Shinde has been appointed as Vice President – Projects at Pidilite Industries Limited, where he will oversee strategic project execution, process optimization, and infrastructure expansion to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency. His role will focus on driving innovative solutions, enhancing project execution capabilities, and strengthening operational excellence in line with Pidilite’s long-term business objectives.
Bringing nearly three decades of experience in project management, process engineering, and manufacturing excellence, Sujit Shinde has held leadership positions in prominent companies across the pharmaceutical, chemicals, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
Before joining Pidilite, he served as Senior General Manager – Corporate Projects at Piramal Enterprises Limited for nearly 14 years, where he played a key role in capacity expansion, process optimization, technology integration, and capital expenditure planning for chemical intermediates and API manufacturing.
Prior to that, he was Senior Manager at UPL Limited, where he led technical services for large-scale manufacturing plants, focusing on capacity expansion, de-bottlenecking, cost optimization, and process improvement initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held managerial roles at Jubilant Life Sciences, Gharda Chemicals, and Atul Ltd., contributing to process engineering, plant efficiency improvements, and large-scale project execution.
Sujit holds an MBA in Pharmaceutical Sciences from NMIMS and a Master of Management Sciences in Business Administration from Savitribai Phule Pune University, further enhancing his expertise in strategic management, business operations, and industrial process optimization.
