Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, July 2025 – Manjulla Sandara has taken on a new role as Head of Human Resources at MediExpress (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, where she will oversee the company’s people strategy and lead efforts to build a high-performance, employee-centric culture in alignment with MediExpress’s mission to enhance accessible and cost-effective healthcare services.
Manjulla most recently served as Senior People Partner at Heineken Malaysia Berhad, where she was responsible for HR business partnering and labor relations, contributing significantly to talent alignment and organizational effectiveness over a period of approximately 9 months.
Prior to this, she spent about 2 years at QBE Insurance as Human Resources Business Partner, where she worked on workforce planning, employee engagement, and labor relations, aligning HR strategies to meet evolving business needs.
She also held a significant leadership role at INTI Education Group as Senior Manager, Group HR for nearly 3 years, where she was instrumental in building HR capabilities across the education sector.
Earlier, Manjulla gained varied experience in HR functions at Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Gamuda Berhad, and Standard Chartered, progressing through roles in talent acquisition, HR relationship management, and training & development. Her career also includes key stints at IBM and Shell, where she developed strong expertise in HR operations, recruitment, and regional program management across ASEAN and Singapore.
