Gurugram, Haryana, India, November 2025 — Manoj Kumar has joined Amber Enterprises India Limited as Chief Supply Chain Officer, bringing with him more than two decades of leadership experience in supply chain management, procurement, and strategic sourcing. In this new role, he will be responsible for advancing Amber Enterprises’ supply chain capabilities, driving operational excellence, and fostering resilience and sustainability across its diverse business verticals.
Prior to joining Amber Enterprises, Manoj Kumar served as Chief Integrated Supply Chain Officer at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited, where he led transformative initiatives in supply chain digitization, process excellence, and cost optimization across multiple product categories. His leadership in integrating end-to-end business processes and enhancing supplier collaboration was pivotal in strengthening Crompton’s supply chain performance and agility.
Earlier, he spent over five years at Schneider Electric, holding senior global roles including Global Category Director and Global Supplier Base Optimization and Productivity Improvement Leader. At Schneider, Manoj was instrumental in driving global sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and sustainability initiatives, aligning the company’s supply chain with international environmental and compliance standards. He also played a key role in supplier innovation, promoting digital visibility and risk mitigation through AI-enabled control systems and strategic supplier partnerships.
Before Schneider, Manoj held leadership positions at Luminous Power Technologies, where he managed a spend portfolio exceeding €270 million, achieving double-digit cost reductions through value engineering, supplier optimization, and digital procurement transformation. He earlier served with LG Electronics for nearly a decade, leading procurement across key categories such as resin, steel, copper, and aluminum, and spearheading international sourcing fairs with suppliers from Korea, China, and Thailand to enhance competitiveness and supply resilience.
Manoj began his career at Machino Basell India Pvt. Ltd. and BD, where he gained extensive exposure to manufacturing operations, vendor development, and greenfield plant setup—foundations that shaped his hands-on approach to strategic sourcing and operations management.
