New Delhi, Delhi, India, December 2024 – Manoj Mishra has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Jagran New Media, the digital arm of Jagran Prakashan. In this capacity, Manoj will lead the organization’s HR strategy, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement to support Jagran New Media’s growing digital presence.
Manoj joins Jagran New Media after a two-year tenure as an Independent HR Consultant, where he worked with startups in HR Tech, EV, and IT Services sectors. During this period, he played a pivotal role in scaling HR processes, helping businesses grow from seed/Series-A stages to exponential growth, impacting over 1,800 employees across India.
Previously, Manoj served as Vice President & Group Head HR at BetterPlace, where he spearheaded HR transformations and contributed significantly to the organization’s strategic growth. He also held the role of Vice President & Head HR at Licious, where he focused on strengthening HR frameworks and employee relations during a critical growth phase.
At Flipkart, Manoj worked as Director HR, leading large-scale HR initiatives to support the company’s rapid expansion. Before that, he spent nearly four years at Walmart as Regional Head – People, managing HR operations across multiple regions.
Manoj began his HR career with notable stints at Tata Retail, Future Group, and Landmark Group, gaining extensive experience across FMCG, HRC, and retail sectors during his decade-long journey in diverse roles.
