Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 – Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has elevated Manu Wadhwa to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer – Administration & Facilities, a strategic move as the network continues to strengthen its people, culture, and operational foundations. The expanded portfolio recognizes her pivotal contribution in driving transformation across the organization.
Manu has been part of Sony Pictures Networks for nearly seven years and has served as Chief Human Resources Officer since 2019. In this role she led the transition of SPNI from a traditional broadcaster to a digitally agile content company, shaping enterprise-wide talent strategy, inclusion and diversity, leadership succession, and change management across multiple countries. Since September 2024, she has also held additional responsibility as Head of Enterprise IT, guiding the creation of next-generation technology architecture, a data-first decision framework, and strengthened compliance aligned with global Sony standards.
Prior to SPNI, Manu served as CHRO – India & South West Asia at The Coca-Cola Company, where she steered the people strategy for a system employing more than 25,000 associates and a vast distribution ecosystem. She was also a Board Member of Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd and chaired its Audit Committee, reflecting the breadth of her governance and stakeholder stewardship.
Earlier, she spent over nine years with American Express, including as Head – Global HR Transformation & Capabilities, driving HR operating model redesign across 36 markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific for a workforce exceeding 120,000 employees. She also led HR for major business units in India and Asia, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and employee value proposition for diversified businesses.
Her foundational years were shaped at GE, where over seven years she held multiple global and regional HR leadership roles across countries—from talent acquisition and learning at Crotonville Asia to heading HR for Budapest Bank and GE Countrywide. She began her career with Mahyco and Tata Tele Business Services, gaining cross-industry exposure and strong operational grounding.
Beyond corporate leadership, Manu is an influential voice in India’s HR ecosystem. She serves on advisory and leadership forums of AIMA, CII, and SHRM India, advocating youth leadership, inclusion, and the advancement of the HR profession.
