Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States – October 2024 – Manuela Coats Villarreal has joined Avem Health Partners as the new Director of Human Resources. In this role, Manuela will lead HR strategies and initiatives to support Avem Health Partners’ mission of enhancing healthcare in rural communities. Her focus will be on streamlining HR operations, driving employee engagement, and aligning HR strategies with organizational growth.
Before joining Avem Health Partners, Manuela served as Human Resources Director at Intrepid USA Healthcare Services for nearly five years. During her tenure, she led HR operations across 68 locations and 14 states, implementing HR programs that improved leadership, employee engagement, and compliance. Manuela was also instrumental in managing the HR response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring effective safety protocols and policies for frontline healthcare workers.
Earlier in her career, Manuela worked as Manager of HR Business Partners North America at Safran USA, where she oversaw global HR operations for the North American zone. Her responsibilities included workforce planning, compliance management, and HR communication strategies, contributing to a high-performance global organization.
Manuela also held the position of Human Resources Manager/Associate Relations at Essendant, where she developed performance management processes, launched leadership programs, and increased diversity through community engagement initiatives. Prior to that, she was Regional Human Resources Manager at CEC Entertainment (Chuck E Cheese), managing HR operations across multiple regions and navigating complex state regulations.
