Emeryville, California, USA, May 2024 – Marie Corso has started a new position as Vice President Human Resources at Peet’s Coffee. In this role, Marie will be responsible for leading and enhancing the human resources functions across the organization, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Marie Corso has been with Peet’s Coffee for over 12 years. She initially joined as Senior Human Resources Manager and steadily progressed through various leadership roles, including Human Resources Director and Senior Director Human Resources. Throughout her tenure, Marie has played a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s mission and goals.
Before her tenure at Peet’s Coffee, Marie worked at Dun & Bradstreet for nearly six years. She served as Operations/ Human Resources Manager, where she managed HR operations and contributed to the company’s HR transformation initiatives.
Marie also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Andronico’s Markets, where she was instrumental in managing HR functions and supporting the business’s growth and development.
Her career began at The Sharper Image, where she served as Human Resources Representative/Recruiter, gaining valuable experience in recruitment and employee relations.
