London, United Kingdom, – November 2024 – Reed Global has announced the appointment of Martin Graves as Chief People Officer, where he will lead the organization’s People Strategy, focusing on workforce development, employee engagement, and cultural enhancement across all divisions of the Reed Group. Martin’s extensive background in strategic HR leadership is expected to contribute significantly to Reed’s mission of “improving lives through work.”
Martin joins Reed Global with recent experience as Executive Director at Sevenfore Consultancy in Nottingham, where he has served for nearly two years, delivering HR consultancy services and guiding clients in workforce transformation and HR best practices. His role involved collaborating with leadership teams to foster effective people strategies and organizational change.
Previously, Martin held a distinguished tenure at JCB for 11 years, where he progressed through multiple senior HR roles. He most recently served as Group HR Director, overseeing HR functions across global operations and promoting strategic workforce initiatives. Before this, he was Director of Human Resources and Group HR Manager, roles in which he focused on aligning HR policies with business goals and supporting organizational growth.
Before joining JCB, Martin was Head of Employee Relations, Benefits, Skills, Education & Policy at Tesco, where he led HR initiatives across the UK and Ireland, managing employee relations and implementing policies to support workforce engagement. His early career began at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK, where he spent 14 years, ultimately becoming a Senior HR Manager.
