Irvine, California, May 2024 – Mathi Gurusamy has been appointed as the new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Lantronix. In his new role, Mathi will be responsible for steering the company’s strategic direction and driving its growth initiatives.
Mathi Gurusamy brings extensive experience in the IoT and technology sectors. Prior to joining Lantronix, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Ikotek USA, Inc. (November 2023 – May 2024), where he managed overall company strategy and operations. Before that, he was the President Telit IoT Solutions at Telit IoT Solutions (October 2022 – October 2023), following Telit’s acquisition of Mobilogix Inc.
At Mobilogix, Mathi held the position of President/CEO (June 2018 – September 2022), where he harnessed the power of IoT to provide real-time actionable data to businesses worldwide and innovated state-of-the-art devices, services, and solutions.
Earlier in his career, Mathi served as the President/COO at Mobilogix, overseeing overall company strategy. He also held various leadership roles at Telit Wireless Solutions, including COO and Global VP – Operations & Supply Chain, where he managed global supply chain operations and regional management. At GN Netcom, Mathi was the Director of Procurement, and he worked for Jabil Circuit in several international locations as Materials Manager.
In addition to his corporate roles, Mathi has served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Utvyakta (an IIoT company) (January 2021 – Present) and Member of the Board of Directors at Cloudvidia (March 2020 – Present).
