Brea, California, United States, April 2025 – Matt Giles has taken on the role of Vice President Human Resources at Envista Holdings Corporation, where he will lead the HR strategy for the organization’s Corporate Functions and Emerging Markets. In this pivotal leadership position, he will support teams across North America, LATAM, META, and JAPAC, ensuring alignment of talent strategy with business growth and cultural transformation across geographies.
Prior to joining Envista, Matt Giles served as Vice President of Human Resources at Axon, where he led a global team of 15 supporting 25+ countries during a high-growth phase. He was responsible for expanding the Talent, HR Business Partner, and International HR functions while closely collaborating with C-suite leaders to build scalable HR infrastructure.
Before that, he took a career break in 2022–2023 to recover from a serious health condition, using the time to engage in mentorship, consulting, and community service while maintaining his professional edge.
Earlier, he served as Vice President of Human Resources at Capsule, leading HR for operations teams with 1,500+ employees across pharmacy services and logistics, driving cultural transformation and high-performance practices during a national expansion.
Previously, he spent nearly four years as Senior Director Human Resources at Edwards Lifesciences, overseeing global HR strategy for the Implant Network across domestic and international sites, supporting 4,000+ employees and spearheading talent initiatives.
Over the years, Matt has also held key HR leadership roles at VMC, Amazon, Lowe’s Companies, Inc., and Idahoan Foods, where he built HR capabilities, supported global teams, and shaped high-impact talent strategies across industries including healthcare, tech, retail, and manufacturing.
