With a robust background in strategic leadership within the aerospace and defense industries, Magaña will play a pivotal role in enhancing Voyager’s national security initiatives in support of the U.S. government and its allies.

Voyager provides advanced defense solutions, including solid propulsion systems, SIGINT capabilities, and technologies such as the ProtonX-Box™ avionics platform, high-performance image processing computers, and agile radios. Recently, Voyager was selected by Lockheed Martin to provide propulsion for the Missile Defense Agency’s Next Generation Interceptor and has collaborated with Palantir Technologies to explore AI and ML solutions to support national security interests in space.

Prior to Voyager, Magaña was President and CEO of Blue Canyon Technologies, where he led efforts to deliver spacecraft and components for commercial and government missions, reducing barriers to space access. Previously, as Vice President of Space Systems at Raytheon Technologies, he oversaw a billion-dollar portfolio of advanced defense technologies.
