Md. Sajedul Islam Promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer at Betopia Group

Gulshan, Dhaka, Bangladesh, July 2026 — Betopia Group has promoted Md. Sajedul Islam to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), recognising his outstanding contributions to the organisation’s people strategy and human capital transformation. With over 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, he will now lead the Group’s enterprise-wide people agenda as it continues expanding its AI-powered global technology ecosystem.

In his new role, Sajedul will oversee the full spectrum of strategic and operational human resources across a workforce of more than 5,000 employees. He will be responsible for driving HR strategy, talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, organisational development, HR analytics, employee experience, learning and development, culture transformation, and HR governance while aligning people initiatives with the company’s long-term business objectives.

Prior to his elevation, Sajedul served as Head of Human Resources at Betopia Group, where he led enterprise HR strategy and operations, strengthened HR policies and governance, introduced learning management systems, developed KPI-driven performance management frameworks, enhanced employee engagement initiatives, and built scalable people processes to support the organisation’s rapid growth.

Before joining Betopia Group, he served as Head of People Management, WH & Distribution at JAT – Asia Coatings Limited, where he led people strategy across warehousing and distribution operations. Earlier, he was Head of Human Resources at Sultan Lifestyle Limited, driving HR transformation and talent management initiatives. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years with JAT Holdings PLC as Head of HR & Admin, leading strategic human resources, organisational development, employee relations, and people capability initiatives across the business.

Earlier in his career, Sajedul built broad expertise across multiple HR leadership roles, developing deep capabilities in organisational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, learning and development, and performance management, establishing himself as a respected HR leader within the region.

His promotion reflects Betopia Group’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team as it continues building one of Asia’s fastest-growing AI-powered business ecosystems.
