In her new role, she will continue to lead the company’s talent acquisition strategies, focusing on attracting top talent to support the company’s growth and innovation in accounting automation technology.
Melissa Powell has been with FloQast for over four years, previously serving as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition where she played a critical role in expanding the company’s workforce.
Prior to FloQast, Melissa worked as a Talent Acquisition Advisor at Jam City, providing strategic hiring solutions. She also led as Managing Director at Launch 34 – Talent Acquisition, focusing on executive search, diversity initiatives, and organizational development strategies.

Earlier in her career, Melissa held the position of Vice President, Talent Acquisition at YP (The Real Yellow Pages), where she led large-scale recruitment strategies, expanding the workforce by hiring over 2,500 employees annually across multiple regions. She also served as Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition at Cornerstone OnDemand, managing talent acquisition during a period of significant growth.
