Burse joins the company from Interfolio by Elsevier, where she significantly influenced financial strategy over her eight-year tenure.
In her new role, Burse will provide strategic financial guidance to Mentor Collective’s executive team, enhancing the organization’s operational performance and supporting its growth initiatives. Mentor Collective, which collaborates with over 200 colleges and universities across the U.S., utilizes its platform to enhance student enrollment and retention by fostering meaningful peer connections.

Christine Burse has a robust background in finance, beginning her career as a Private Equity Analyst at Citi and later serving as a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting at global advertising firm SGS & Co. Her extensive experience in the edtech sector was developed at Interfolio by Elsevier, where she progressed from director of finance and accounting to vice president and head of finance.
