Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, February 2026 — Meredith Dumford has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Financial Independence Group, where she will lead the organization’s enterprise-wide people strategy, culture, and talent initiatives. In this role, she is responsible for aligning human capital priorities with business objectives, strengthening leadership capability, and enhancing employee engagement to support the company’s continued growth.
Prior to this appointment, Meredith Dumford served as Director of Human Resources at Financial Independence Group, where she spent approximately five years leading the company’s people strategy and core HR operations. She partnered closely with executive leadership on organizational design, culture, and talent strategy while overseeing employee relations, compliance, compensation, and benefits administration. During this period, she also developed and facilitated companywide leadership and management training programs and drove initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, and communication. Earlier in her tenure at the organization, she worked as Human Resources Generalist, building a strong operational foundation across HR functions.
Before joining Financial Independence Group, Meredith held human resources roles at NetSuite and Bronto Software, a NetSuite company, where she gained multi-state HR experience supporting large employee populations. At NetSuite, she served as an onsite HR Generalist supporting offices across multiple states, leading onboarding, employee relations, succession planning support, and HR reporting for senior leadership. At Bronto Software, she progressed from Human Resources Intern to Human Resources Associate, contributing to onboarding programs, compensation planning, HR policy development, and acquisition integration activities.
Earlier in her career, Meredith gained foundational experience through internships and operational roles, including positions with the City of Asheboro, SeaWorld Orlando, and Dixie Sheet Metal, Inc. These early roles helped shape her strengths in operations, administration, and employee support, laying the groundwork for her later leadership in human resources.
