With over seven years at Encore, Ashley has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s hiring strategy and fostering a strong workplace culture. In her new role, she will lead the organization’s talent initiatives, focusing on recruitment, executive search, workforce development, and employee engagement to drive continued business success.
Before her promotion to Vice President of Talent, Ashley Somyk served as Director of Talent & Culture at Encore Fire Protection for over three years, where she oversaw talent acquisition, built leadership pipelines, and enhanced employee experience strategies.
Prior to joining Encore, Ashley worked at City Personnel as a Senior Recruitment Specialist, where she led recruitment strategies and talent acquisition for various industries in the Providence area. She also held roles at Groove Events as an Event Marketing Specialist and at CWI – Computer Wholesalers Inc. as a Social Media Marketing Strategist, where she developed employer branding and digital engagement strategies.
