Dublin, Ireland, September 2024 – Tara Siân Hayes has begun her new role as Vice President of the People Team at Optum, a global leader in health services and innovation. In her new position, Tara will lead the People Team’s strategic initiatives, focusing on talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement to support Optum’s mission of improving healthcare systems worldwide.
Prior to joining Optum, Tara held the role of HRBP Leader at TikTok, where she oversaw the EMEA region for the Trust and Safety Organization, driving transformation and people strategy. Tara’s leadership in employee relations, organizational change, and talent management was pivotal in navigating the team through a period of rapid change.
Before TikTok, Tara spent over five years at eBay as a Senior Director, People Business Partner, where she was responsible for global people strategy, performance management, and cultural development for the Global Customer Service and Operations division. Her role covered EMEA, North America, and APAC.
Tara has also held leadership roles at Etsy and VeriSign, focusing on HR transformation and organizational design across multiple regions, including Europe, Asia, and South Africa.
