Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, September 2025 — PureHealth has appointed Michael Schulz as its new Group Chief People & Organization Officer, effective September 2025. In his new role, Schulz will lead people and organizational excellence and drive growth initiatives for the rapidly expanding healthcare group.
Schulz brings more than two decades of international leadership experience spanning healthcare, energy, telecommunications, construction, and consultancy. His career reflects a strong focus on people transformation, organizational design, and AI integration in human capital strategies.
Most recently, he served as Chief People & AI Integration Officer at HumanCentric Labs, where he revolutionized talent and AI integration for global clients through measurable workforce transformation models. Since 2019, he has also been Managing Director of EXAdvisory, providing strategic and leadership consultancy across industries such as process, power, oil & gas, telecommunications, and digital ventures.
Previously, Schulz was Group Chief People Officer at VEON, serving more than 220 million customers globally, where he was also a member of the Group Executive Committee and various board committees. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles as Chief People & Culture Officer at Puma Energy, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Petrofac, and Vice President Human Resources & Organisation MENA at Lafarge.
Schulz also brings extensive board-level experience, having served as a Non-Executive Board Member at VEON, Chairman of the Board at Global Telecom Holding, and Board Director at Kyivstar, in addition to current advisory roles with Renie and The Inclusion Lab. His background combines global organizational leadership with expertise in AI transformation, business strategy, and DEI.
Schulz holds advanced executive education credentials from London Business School in Organizational Leadership and from INSEAD in Business Administration and Management.
