Miami, Florida, United States, December 2024 – Securitize, a leading tokenization platform, has appointed Michael Sonnenshein as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective December 9. Sonnenshein, the former CEO of Grayscale Investments, brings over a decade of expertise in digital assets and blockchain innovation to his new role.
During his tenure at Grayscale, Sonnenshein grew the firm into the world’s largest crypto asset manager, overseeing tens of billions of dollars in assets and introducing over 20 funds. His leadership was pivotal in securing SEC approval for U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs, advancing digital assets as a mainstream investment class.
