Boulder, Colorado, United States, August 2025 – Michelle Heitz has been appointed as Chief People Officer at DigniFi, where she will spearhead the company’s people strategy, talent development, and culture initiatives. In her new role, Michelle will focus on driving strategic HR programs, enhancing the employee experience, and aligning talent and organizational goals to support DigniFi’s continued growth in the fintech and transportation sectors.
Michelle has been with DigniFi for over six years, progressing through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Vice President of People Operations, overseeing human resources strategy, talent management, payroll operations, compensation planning, and organizational development. Before that, as Director of Recruiting & Talent Development, she led full-cycle recruitment for top Engineering, Product, Sales, and Finance talent nationwide, built a strong employment brand, and designed learning programs to advance employee competencies. Earlier roles at DigniFi include Director of Talent Acquisition, Director of Human Resources, and Human Resources Manager, where she managed HR operations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and employee engagement initiatives.
Before rejoining DigniFi, Michelle worked at Creative Alignments as a Technical Recruiter, helping clients in the natural products/CPG and technology industries find top talent through a transparent, time-based recruiting model.
Earlier in her career, Michelle spent more than eight years in various leadership and operational roles, including Staff Accountant and Business Office Manager at DH Group, LLC, where she managed office operations, HR, and finance functions. She also served as Franchise Owner at Pro Martial Arts Franchise Corp, overseeing HR, marketing, and business development, and worked internationally as General Manager at Heku Construction in Zambia, managing HR and accounting for a 250+ employee workforce.
Michelle began her career in financial services with Compass Bank, advancing from teller to Financial Analyst in the Wealth Management Group. In this role, she maintained investment performance systems, developed client reporting, and ensured compliance for asset management accounts. She holds an MBA from Grand Canyon University.
