Dallas, Texas, United States, February 2026 — IP Infusion, a leading provider of network operating system (NOS) software enabling disaggregated networking solutions for carriers, service providers and data center operators, has appointed Miguel Alonso as Chief Product and Marketing Officer. In his new role, Miguel will lead IP Infusion’s global product strategy, product portfolio evolution, go-to-market positioning, and marketing direction, strengthening the company’s impact across next-generation carrier and cloud networking markets.
With over three decades of leadership experience spanning product management, product marketing, SaaS business building, AI-driven analytics platforms, and global P&L ownership, Miguel is widely recognised for scaling technology businesses and building high-performing global product organisations across cloud software, access networking systems, and data-driven network assurance solutions.
Prior to joining IP Infusion, Miguel Alonso served as Chief Business Officer at AXON Networks for over a year, where he carried global P&L responsibility for AXON’s Network Assurance business. In this role, he led global sales, customer support, product management and engineering teams across North America and Europe, helping advance cloud-native network management solutions and DigitalTWIN-driven capabilities that enhance customer experience and network reliability.
Earlier, Miguel spent more than four years at DZS, progressing from Vice President, Global Product Management to the role of Chief Product Officer. As a corporate officer, he held global P&L responsibility for the entire product portfolio spanning cloud software, optical systems, access networking solutions, and connected premises equipment, while leading large-scale global product and engineering functions across multiple regions.
Before DZS, he served for about two years as Vice President of Product Management at Nortek Control, where he led executive-level product management with P&L responsibility for the Home Automation Business Unit delivering IoT and software solutions for residential and commercial environments.
Miguel also brings strong entrepreneurial and innovation depth, having founded and led mandal.ai as CEO for about a year, building a venture focused on applying AI to mobile network data to transform operator business models and disrupt digital advertising. During this phase, he recruited investors and advisory leadership, achieved key funding milestones, and delivered an MVP with proof-of-concept deployments within six months.
A major foundation of his career was built at Calix, where he spent over 18 years, including nearly eight years as Vice President, SaaS Business Unit. He led SaaS business strategy focused on analytics and AI applications for broadband access networks, launching subscription-based platforms including Marketing Cloud and Support Cloud, while driving strong growth and margin performance. Earlier at Calix, he served in senior roles including Director of Product Management and Director of Product Marketing, helping scale the company through pre-IPO and growth phases, including product release leadership and integration of acquisitions.
Miguel also held earlier leadership roles at Advanced Fibre Communications as Director of Sales, CALA and in international engineering, and started his early career in technology roles spanning development engineering and marketing.
