Atlanta, Georgia, United States, February 2026 – Boys & Girls Clubs of America has appointed Misty Miller as Principal Officer, Blue Door Academy, expanding her leadership impact within the nation’s premier youth development organization.
In this new role, Misty will lead Blue Door Academy, further strengthening leadership development, organizational capability, and strategic alignment across the Boys & Girls Clubs network. Her appointment reflects the organization’s continued focus on empowering youth-serving leaders and advancing mission-driven excellence nationwide.
Misty brings over a decade of progressive leadership within Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where she currently serves as Senior Vice President, Organizational Development and has held multiple national leadership roles including National Vice President, National Director, Club Advancement Services, and Director of Organizational Development. Throughout her tenure, she has driven enterprise-wide growth strategies, business transformation initiatives, and capacity-building programs supporting Clubs across the country.
Prior to joining the national organization, Misty served as President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain, where she led regional operations and strengthened community impact. Earlier in her career, she was Executive Vice President at I Squared Consulting, advising nonprofit organizations on capacity building and mission delivery effectiveness.
Her elevation to Principal Officer of Blue Door Academy highlights her deep expertise in nonprofit leadership, organizational strategy, and youth development systems.
