Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 — Mitul Vyas has been promoted to Head HR – Corporate Functions at Marico Limited. The elevation marks an important milestone in his career with the company and reflects Marico’s continued confidence in his people leadership across multiple HR mandates. In this role, he will lead the HR agenda for corporate functions at one of India’s leading consumer goods companies operating in the beauty and wellness space.
Before this promotion, Mitul Vyas served as Lead HR – Corporate Functions at Marico Limited, a role that directly preceded his elevation. Prior to that, he worked as HR Manager – Talent Acquisition & Cadre Building, where he contributed to strengthening talent pipelines and building organizational capability. Earlier, as HR Manager – Sales, he partnered with organized trade teams and sales centres of excellence, managed incentive programs across sales channels, and designed data-based talent management initiatives for the sales field force. He also helped enhance field capability through interventions such as Sales Masterclass and Sales Pathshaala.
Earlier in his journey at Marico Limited, he worked as HR Manager – New Business, where he supported the onboarding of Zed Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. (Beardo) into the Marico fold, helped set up HR payroll compliance processes, designed a performance management system, and contributed to building the new digital business unit through hiring, onboarding, and policy creation. He also took on the additional responsibility of managing the campus program for graduate trainees. Before that, he served as HR IT & Digital Manager, where he launched a chatbot for employee query resolution, implemented the SuccessFactors Employee Central module across geographies, managed recognition programs, integrated the recognition portal with a chatbot on the Workplace platform, and created HR KPI dashboards. He had joined the company as a Management Trainee, following an earlier stint as a Summer Intern, where his strong performance earned him a pre-placement offer.
Before building his HR leadership journey at Marico, Mitul Vyas worked as Software Engineer Trainee at Nucleus Software, where he was part of the product engineering team and worked on Java-based retail lending software applications. Earlier, he also held leadership responsibilities as Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, where he managed a large editorial team and led publication and literary event initiatives. He also completed vocational training at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, adding early industrial exposure to his professional journey.
His career progression reflects a strong blend of HR leadership, talent strategy, digital transformation, business partnering, and organizational development. Over the years, he has built experience across corporate HR, talent acquisition, sales HR, new business integration, HR technology, and people capability-building, positioning him well for this elevated leadership role at Marico Limited.
Mitul Vyas holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in HRM from XLRI Jamshedpur. His academic foundation, combined with his diverse internal experience at Marico, has helped shape a career path that blends strategic HR thinking with operational and digital execution.
